Dear Pecha Kucha fans,
We think it's about time for a new inspiring version of the one and only Pecha Kucha Night Amsterdam. It'll al be taking place next week, on Wednesday 20 January, at Mediamatic in the former ABN AMRO building at the Vijzelstraat. Come along, show and tell, get inspired, and have a great night out loaded with fresh mind food.
Expect a stunning line-up with a wide, wide range of pioneers who can't wait to tell you about their ideas, motives and best projects in 20 slides of 20 seconds. For instance Hans Wolbers, creative director Lava, who's kicking off the 10th anniversary of his graphic design agency. Or Melle Smets, an artist who has lived at the Dutch highways for months. Or the guys of NetNiet.org, who'll be telling about virtual worlds in urban atmospheres. Or Justus Bruns, a guy with a very ambitious plan: to turn all video ads on Times Square into video art. Or Elsien Gringhuis, a rising star in fashion design. Or Brian Kersbergen, the man who got famous for the rumor around his huge collection of Albert Heijn baskets.
