The idea of the 'public' is frequently and variously circulated for supporting and also for challenging the urban transformations around us. We are interested in de-mystifying these divergent avatars of the 'public'. We are interested in re-occupying the notion of 'public' with inclusive energies.
Venkataramanan Associates and MOD Institute organise the 9th Pecha Kucha Night Bangalore on the theme of 'Re:Public' on Thursday, 26th January 2012.
All presentations at a Pecha Kucha event consists of 20 slides, each projected for 20 seconds; resulting in sharp and quick propositions by the selected speakers; followed by a longish, relaxed and unstructured interaction time lubricated by ideas and drinks.
