the first venue of PECHA KUCHA NIGHT BEIJING took place 17-12-06 in a bar/restaurant called kokomo in the heart of san li tun bar street (in the tongli studios). people appreciating creative fields could experience a rather interactive evening with speakers reaching from technical fields such es construction of the outer shell of the olympic swimming stadium to a 6 minutes 40 seconds experimental sound performance to outstanding graphic gesign of a member of the new chinese "garden kid generation" to shortmovies created on a magnetic kids board.
