Pecha Kucha Night #11--Global Cities Week!

February’s special edition of Pecha Kucha Night is all about Bemidji! Join us at the Hungry Bear’s New City Ballroom on February 23rd at 6:30pm to be part of the fun.

Normally, PKN does not have a theme. However, as a part of Global Cities Week, our speakers’ presentations will focus on aspects of our community. This exciting edition of PKN will put the following folks in the spotlight:

Bill Batchelder, Bemidji Woolen Mills
Mitch Blessing, Design Angler / Bemidji Sculpture Walk
Nicole Foss, Beltrami County History Center
John Gonzalez, Bemidji State University Assistant Professor
Dr. Richard Hanson, Bemidji State University President
Hannah Hutchins, Bemidji State University Student
Dave Larson, Bemidji Mayor
Kimberle G Nagle, LaSalle Group
Julie Saari, This is my town: Bemidji

John Eggers will be our special guest event host for the night.

Local artists will join in the fun too by displaying their interpretations of our favorite folklore duo, Paul and Babe.

What’s Pecha Kucha Night? Presenters are given six minutes and forty seconds to share twenty slides and talk about almost anything they want. PKN is always free, open to the public, and family-friendly.

Celebrate Bemidji with laughter, learning, new friends, and lots of red plaid at the New City Ballroom, February 23rd at 6:30pm.

Pecha Kucha Night Bemidji is brought to you by Red Zest Design, Evensen Creative, Green Janie, Netzer’s Bemidji Floral, Garden of Edits, Amity Graphics, and the New City Ballroom (Hungry Bear). Pecha Kucha Night is devised and shared by Klein Dytham Architecture.
