Dear Pecha Kucha Brighton supporters,
On February 20th, (the birthday of Pecha Kucha) there will be a global event with every Pecha Kucha City (272) taking part around the world, to help raise money for the effort in Haiti.
All donations will go to Architecture for Humanity and their current rebuilding programme in Haiti.

Mark and Astrid the Tokyo founders and their team are organising this global pecha kucha event (20th Feb) A 24 hour global relay which will stream pecha kucha events live from every pkn 272 city, with each city live for about 7 minutes, enough to say "Hello from Brighton and give a 20x20 presentation. Viewers of the event all over the world can donate money on the event site.
We have a Pecha Kucha Brighton scheduled for 17th February at the Komedia Studio bar. The recording from this event will be fed into the live stream on the 20th Feb.
We will be donating takings to the Haiti appeal. Globally we are hoping to raise £1000, 000
So if you have thought about coming to a Pecha Kucha Night but haven’t yet this will be the one to come to, we will be recording the presentations , with presenter permission, and the audience and sending this through to the streamed global event on the 20th Feb.
