Venue: Redroaster Coffee House, 1d St James’s Street, Brighton, BN2 1RE
The doors will open at 7.45pm and the presentations will start at 8.20pm, coffee and beer/wine available before hand and in interval
There are 11 presenters:
1. •Richard Vahrman, Director of Locomatrix, ' Taking Computer Games Outdoors'
2. •Bec Garland, Artist (drawing, illustration, photography),' Narrative and Imagined Spaces'.
3. •Dr Dan Pinchbeck and Jessica Curry, Dan: academic and games researcher/designer, University of Portsmouth. Jessica: composer and conceptual artist, 'Computer games as experimental art?'
4. •Matt Lord, Performing artist, 'Exit Exist to Apollonia '.
5. •Nirmal Dhiman, artist / designer, 'Visual diary drawings'.
6. •Michelle Laing, Creator, 'That's intense'
7. •Peter Kalen, Graphic design, photography, digital media art/design, ' Lost and Found'.
8. •Robin Houghton, 'Vital Signs: '3 short narratives, with photographs by Simon Dale'.
9. •Chao Min Tzu, Student/ Illustrator, ' Double Happiness’.
10. •Noel Boswijk, architect, 'paper scissors stone'.
11. •Richard Rowland, Photographer, 'Urban Fictions: Arts Council funded photography project examining the phenomenon of western-style theme towns in and around Shanghai'.
NB:The doors will be closed whilst we set up inside as we have a short time between the café closing and then reopening for PKN .It is recommended that you get there as close to 7.45pm as it is door sales only, at the first event we had to turn people away.
The doors will be closed at 8.15pm just before the first presentation, as we don’t want to disturb the presenters during their presentations.
