Calgary Arts Development is pleased to present PechaKucha Night Calgary #11! Our second annual Valentine's Day event, the theme for PechaKucha Night Calgary #11 is "Two."
Devised in Tokyo in 2003, PechaKucha Nights are now taking place in over 450 cities around the world. Drawing their name from the Japanese term for the sound of "chit chat," PechaKucha Nights are based on a simple presentation format: speakers present 20 slides each, for only 20 seconds per slide. It's a format that makes presentations concise and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.
Speakers include:
- Cara Anderson, President, Six Minute Dates
- Myke Atkinson, Dad
- Jim Button, Community Affairs, Village Brewery
- Angela Dione & Angel Guerra, Founders, Market Collective
- Todd Hirsch, Senior Economist, ATB Financial
- Pierre Lamielle, Cook/Illustrator
- Ken Lima-Coelho, CBC Radio
- Natalie & Dale, Depeche Ode
- Kiran Somanchi, Bow to Bluff
- Bradley Walker, Vice President, Bottom Line Productions
