Vote For PechaKucha Night to get you in the mood for March 3rd

← All Chicago newsletters 2009-02-22 08:20:01
Quick, before February 26, vote for PechaKucha Night as the best Non-Musical Entertainment (in the Bars and Clubs section) of the Chicago Reader's Best of 2009 poll. It's at http://media.chicagoreader.com/Best-of-Chicago/2009/ballot/voting/category/bars-and-clubs. /> While you're at it, you can recognize lots of other cool things and people (best emerging artist, best emerging architect, best stand-up comedian) that you might have seen first at PechaKucha Night.
Then don't forget to get on your dancing shoes for PechaKucha Night Volume 8 on March 3rd. It's just a week away. Not sure if there really will be dancing, but there's at least one musically inclined presenter, so best to come prepared.
PK Night last March was one of the sell-out events where people were queuing outside. You can avoid that by getting tickets early and often at

See you on March 3rd, and thank you for being a fan of PechaKucha Night, for subscribing to the newsletter, AND being our friend and fan on Facebook. You really are the best of Chicago (we wish we could vote for the best audience on the Reader poll, 'cos you would win).
Presenting at Volume 8 are Beth DeBonis, Theresa Devine, Rujanee Mahakanjana, Dennis McClendon, Miles Nielsen, Peter Osler, Wellington "Duke" Reiter, Dan Rybicky, Jesse Seay, Anne Wells, and Daniel Wheeler, with introductions and general banter by PK alums Peter Exley and Yamani Hernandez.
