Pecha Kucha Columbus Event at Wild Goose Creative
Community Gathering Celebrates Local Creative Culture
COLUMBUS (October 23, 2009) — Pecha Kucha Columbus will host its eleventh event on
Thursday, November 5 at Wild Goose Creative. The festivities will kick off at 7:00 p.m.
with singer/songwriter Jason Quicksall and Pecha Kucha presentations will begin at 7:30
p.m. Each Pecha Kucha presenter will show 20 images and speak about each image for 20
seconds. Presenters include Joseph Bilyk of Luna Studios; Allison Chapman of Igloo
Letterpress; Megan Green of Crafin’ Outlaws and Stinkybomb; Susan Halpern of the
Columbus International Film & Video Festival; Austin Kocher of Bike To Work Week; artist
Andrew Lundberg; veterinary technician Tammy Muse; and feminist painter Stephanie
Rond.
Music accompanying the event will be provided by Scott Vayo of BPM Productions.
Sassafras Bakery will provide baked goods throughout the event and Team Swing Columbus
will perform during intermission.
The “One Roof” art exhibit, a collaboration of works by mother artists and their children, will be on display.
The suggested donation is two dollars per person.
Wild Goose Creative is located at 2491 Summit Street near Clintonville.
