Update on PKDayton, Volume 9

← All Dayton newsletters 2011-11-29 13:15:04
Even though we haven't confirmed all our speakers, we couldn't wait to share more with you! Volume 9 will be catered by Coco's with tapas and sangria!! It will be in a very cool space (Atta Girl Art & Garden comlex)! The event is free, but donations will be accepted to defray costs. Here's a quick look at our inspiring, amusing, creative, insightful presenters:

Officially, Tim Anderl is a marketing professional. Unofficially, he's a music journalist for his own and nationally recognized publications. In October 2011, he received his first paycheck for his music writing and is trying to decide how to spend his $20 fortune. His presentation is titled, "Rockstars Are People Too."

Scott Murphy is a strong advocate for the Dayton region and a community volunteer, serving as Board Chair of updayton and a team member for the Activated Spaces project. Scott has seen too many of his friends leave the region, which has motivated his involvement in updayton and Activated Spaces.

Lisa Pratt is uniquely typical. She has the typical hobbies of hiking and playing drums; a great sense of humor; an awesome husband and provides life guidance through her business at “Intuitive Connections Life Guidance with Lisa”. Oh, just one other small detail... she does talk to ghosts too

Lisa Patrick-Wright, Program Director/ Facillitator, Grass Roots Enrichment and Wellness Center for Children & Families will share the impetus, inspiration and thinking behind the creation of a magical place where children can thrive.

Galen Wilson, historian/curator/archivist, has many years experience preserving artifacts and being a bit of a history detective. His presentation will clear up many common misconceptions by presenting the odd and intriguing facts.

Patrick Dalton is an artist in metal. And, we're told, his presentation will center on Zombie Apocalypse Preparedness Specialist Training. Kind of irresistable.

See you there!!!
