Call for Entries:
Following the great success of our three events in 2009, we are pleased to announce that Pecha Kucha Nights Doha Volume 4 will take place at the Waqif Art Center on 14 January 2010.
Devised by Klein Dytham architecture in 2003 and taking place in nearly 256 cities around the world, Pecha Kucha is a place to unite creative people and show their work through a patented informal presentation system. Run as an event open to the public, each participant stands and speaks in front of the audience - presenting 20 slides shown on a large screen, with each slide shown for 20 seconds, adding up to 6 minutes & 40 seconds of fame before the next presenter is up. Presenters in creative fields including - but not limited to - architecture, interior design, product design, web design, graphic design, fashion design, furniture design, illustration, animation, arts, typography, sculpture, ceramics and photography are invited to participate, and all good ideas are welcome!
