PechaKucha Nights are informal and fun gatherings where creative people get together and share their ideas, works, thoughts - just about anything really.
The idea behind Pecha Kucha is to have many people sharing their ideas within the course of one night. Therefore the 20x20 Pecha Kucha format was created:
20 images.
Each shown for 20 seconds.
6 minutes 40 seconds per presenter.
14 presenters.
1 wild night.
PechaKucha Nights are a perfect platform to show and share your thoughts or works - and a space for thinking and drinking.
Uncover the unexpected: unexpected talent, unexpected ideas.
PKN started in Tokyo in 2003 by two architects who combined PowerPoint with the notion of a visual poetry slam. PKN now happens in 266 cities around the globe. This will be the fourth PKN in Halifax!
