Volume 6 - Call for Submissions
Pecha Kucha Indianapolis is back! After taking a short hiatus, PK-Indy will hold its sixth volume on Friday, August 14th, 2009, graciously hosted by the Harrison Center of the Arts.
You should submit a presentation!
If you have an idea, concept, or project that needs tweaking, refining, discussion, or distillation, then PK-Indy is the way to do it. Capture the eyes and minds of dozens of smart (and possibly slightly inebriated) people. Compete with the bar for attention. Get in free!
As always, presentations should be concise, thought-provoking, and idea-centric. Each presenter is allotted just 20 slides, each shown for only 20 seconds - for a total of six minutes, forty seconds. Disciplines represented in previous volumes include: urban planning, design, art, architecture, fashion, history, sports, philanthropy, and landscape.
Along with continued submissions from these areas, we look forward to submissions from food, education, information technology, music, and academia at large.
To submit an entry, please email a 250 word or less abstract of your presentation to
submissions@pkindy.org by Wednesday August 6. Selected presenters will be notified on Friday August 7.

Pecha Kucha runs on a lot of free love, but each event does have a pricetag. We are so thankful to sponsors like Big Car, Kristian Anderson + Associates, Flat Earth Records, the Indianapolis Museum of Art , and Invoke Studio who have donated time, space, and money to assist with event expenses. We also appreciate those who have evangelized Pecha Kucha : Asthmatic Kitty, Indy Hub Indy Arts Council, Smaller Indiana, and WFYI.
