PK Jozi 01 was great, thanks very much to all those who attended. There were almost 150 of you, not bad for our first one.
We had 9 fantastic speakers (Toni Lauren Hughes from proximity#ttp, Alex Opper from UJ, Farrah Williams from StudioPeople, Stu Stobbs & Malcolm King from proximity#ttp, Brett St Claire from BeMobile, Philippa Nyakato from Izoba Design, Dave Stanton from L’Oreal Professional, Sergio Murray from UJ and Dave Hillier from The Deli Artists). The presentations were a complete range including future architecture, a musical soundtrack to today’s news, colour inspiration, new ways to work and to deal with stress, architectural fashion and even an infectiously happy pig. We are trying to grow PK Jozi into an ongoing event where we explore creativity and what’s going down in our city, hopefully leaving you inspired and thinking.
With that in mind, the theme of PK Jozi 02 (2nd of July) will be ‘Creativity in Jozi – dead or alive’. There will be about 9 speakers, each with twenty 20 second slides to share their ideas and creativity.

And don’t feel like you have to be some big shot to speak; the mic is open to everyone so long as they stick to the format and don’t try sell their products or business. We are also trying to look for a mix of people so we can hear about a mix of different things.
