Pecha-Kucha Jozi is on its way again. Prepare yourselves, ‘cause it’s gonna be bigger than you’ve experienced previously.
The theme for the evening is “20 Slides for 2010”. Yes, you’ve guessed it. With Soccer-mania at fever pitch, how is the frenzy affecting the lives of Mzansistas and what are creatives doing to influence the scene in Jozi, cometh the hour of reckoning? Well, here’s your chance to find out, at your one-stop-spot for dynamic ideas & creative hopscotch, Pecha-Kucha Jozi 03.
Lots of cool stuff is on the cards. A wide-ranging lineup of excellent presenters will be tackling the issues, an entertaining mix of stimulating insights & funky concepts; with the usual speedy presentation styles you’ve come to love at Pecha-Kucha.
Your band for the night, Sankofa, highly energetic and crazily Afro-flamboyant, will get your creative juices flowing, and the nervous presenters jiving their jitter-bugs right off into the clear black Jozi-Moon skies (We hope).
So you have no excuse for missing out. Entrance is FREE, drinks are nearly as cheap as Chappies (when a good ol’ Chappie was 50c), and doors close from after 20:20, once we begin. Oh and it's in Studio 6 this time. Entrance at gate 1 on Owl street.
