This February, Pecha Kucha Miami is celebrating the anniversary of the very first Pecha Kucha Night in Tokyo in 2003 with Global Cities Week.

On Tuesday, February 28th from 6-8PM at the French Alliance just west of downtown on Calle Ocho, Pecha Kucha Miami will feature five local speakers who's computer animation, motion graphics, and programming skills are nationally and internationally recognized.

This is the third global event for the organization's network of 470+ participating cities. The first event raised awareness and funds to build a school in Haiti with Architecture for Humanity and the second was Inspire Japan which also lead to many civic projects including building a school.
