As if Spring weren't enough to be excited about, you can now also get amped about the seventh PechaKucha Night in Milwaukee. PechaKucha Night was started in Tokyo as a non-profit. For the Milwaukee franchise, we donate all the event money above costs to the foundation to help support the global websites and enable the foundation to do greater things.
The 20 (image) x 20 (seconds) PechaKucha presentations will include topics such as starting a creative business in Milwaukee, architectual efficiencies, analog synthesizers, education through bike building, cultural acceptance, and much more. Featuring Emmett Gross (Cream City Customs), Steve Vebber (WEFT+WARP), Susan Kerns (UW-M PhD candidate), Andreanna Drencheva (Marquette University), Jim Schoenecker (CatralDoyle), Katie Sorenson (Eisner Museum), Joe Kirschling (independent photographer), Jessica Kaminski (independent photographer), and Mike Rohde (Designer - Illustrator of REWORK). Visit the PKN Milwaukee site for links on each of the presenters:

Two local artists will be on-hand drawing the event live.
Kristopher Pollard will be illustrating the attendees and doing portraits before the presentations and during the BEER BREAK, and dwellephant will be illustrating the ideas floating around in the presentations themselves.
