Tomorrow - Vol 4 "CITY CITY BANG BANG"
Tomorrow, Pecha Kucha Night Mumbai Volume 4 marks the completion of our first annual cycle of PKNs in Mumbai.
We will mark this volume with a themed event. The catch-phrase "City City Bang Bang" will be the handle around which we welcomed presentations.
Initiated and conceptualised, and managed by Klien Dytham Architects from Tokyo, in 2003, the format is now running across 262 cities, and the audiences in Mumbai are thoroughyly enjoying it! The rapid-fire flow of presentations is the mainstay of this format, which has been interestingly explored by many across the world and now by many in Mumbai too.
Presenters are...
Rinka Samir D'Monte, Architect
Mustansir Dalvi, Architect and Academician
Harshavardhan Jatkar & Apoorva Jalindre, Students
Dhara Purohit, Architect
Suleiman Merchant, Photographer
Smita Dalvi, Architect and Academician
Beate Hemer & Oskar Edstrom, Research Students
Kaiwan Mehta, Architect and Researcher
Screening: Berlin - Symphony of a Metropolis (1927 German Silent Film directed by Walter Ruttman, and co-written by Carl Mayer and Karl Freund)
(Entry only with registration passes; issued since 17 November at venue)
Looking forward to having you there!
