Dear PechaKucha Night subscribers - in 177 active cities!
FIXED
With so many people subscribing our mail server has been having growing pains. We think that is finally fixed now - and you should be getting these updates once a month from now on.
MARCH
We mentioned last month (for those people who got the mail!) that we thought PechaKucha Night is recession proof because there were so many events in February, over 40 in fact. Well, the PechaKucha network has done it again with an amazing 51 events this month. We estimate that over 10,000 people will attend PechaKucha this month, thanks for all your amazing support and enthusiasm.
You can find the full schedule here for March - or any other month.

TWITTER
Twitter is proving amazing fun and a great resource. If you are at an event please tweet with Pecha or PKN in the text and we can search out the comments real time. Officially it should be #pkn for an event.

SUPPORT
Klein Dytham architecture - that's us! - devised and shared PechaKucha Night. Our first event was in February 2003 in SuperDeluxe Tokyo, since then it has spread virally world wide to 177 cities. We have never sent out a press release and we have never asked anyone to run an event - cities have contacted us. Klein Dytham supports and sponsors the organisation keeping the "Handshake Agreements" that we have with each city free, no money changes hands. It is very much a Not for Profit Organisation. As our backend costs have risen Autodesk have kindly stepped in to help PechaKucha nurture and grow - thank you Autodesk!! Please pop over to their website as they sponsor other great events like TED and the Venice Biennale.

Have a great March and give your city some love and attend her next PechaKucha Night!
Spring greetings from Tokyo
