PechaKucha night Ottawa

Pecha Kucha Ottawa is back! For those of you who remember the buzz of the PK Ottawa events in 2010 and the stimulating effect of creative ideas, you will be thrilled to learn that PK nights are returning in full force for 2012.

We are pleased to re-introduce Pecha Kucha as a platform for our city's talented creatives whose ideas and projects inspire wonder, catalyze innovation and influence positive change in the community.

PK Ottawa has a new volunteer leadership team headed by Remco Volmer. Remco is widely respected for his work as the program coordinator for Artengine's exciting Electric Fields festival. He is also active as a producer for various cultural events involving Canadian and Dutch artists, musicians and other creatives.

Former curator of TEDxCarletonU and Artengine Board member Luc Lalande has joined the team as a co-organizer. Luc is active in the Ottawa hackerspace and artscience community and sees tremendous potential of these movements to contribute to Ottawa's creative vitality.
