El nombre Pecha Kucha (ペチャクチャ) deriva de un término japonés asociado con el sonido de una conversación “chit-chat”.
Pecha Kucha Night es un formato de presentación (mayormente creativa) en el cual se expone un trabajo o idea de manera espontánea, sencilla e informal. Creado como un punto de encuentro para que jóvenes talentosos y creativos puedan mostrar sus obras en público e intercambiar opiniones sin tener que pasar por tantas barreras como editores, revistas o galerías para poder comunicar una idea.
PechaKucha Night Quito Vol.5 será el 23 de Febrero del 2012 en La Casa de Juan - Café Sibarí. Ubicado en La Ronda dentro del centro histórico de Quito.
