How Sweet it Was!
It was hot, hot, hot outside but inside the Atrium it was a cool crowd and a downtown party. Some of our most interesting and talented community members got the opportunity to showcase their passions. Among them, the comedic style of Aaron Hayes comparing his kids to Rockstars & Racoons and Palul Rideout with his dynamic portrayal of symbolism in art, made for an entertaining evening. But really, what could be better than a slide show of snow, ice and "mushers" from the Siskiyou Sled Dog enthusiastis when it's 106 degrees outside? Nothing, unless the presentation also happens to include a community "howl" .
The Sweets Buffet provided by Scott Valley Bank was a visual and gastronomical delight and the lemonade? Well, a night that H-O-T, just has to have lemonade. Refreshing! sums up the whole event nicely.
