On February 20th, (the birthday of Pecha Kucha) there will be a global effort with events happening all around the world to help raise money for the effort in Haiti. All donations will go to Architecture for Humanity and their current rebuilding effort. We're still working on the logistics, but the idea is to set up a 24 hour global relay of pecha kucha events streamed around the world, with each city live for about 10 minutes, enough to say “Hello from St. Louis!!!”, and give one 20×20 presentation.
We're need 14 presenters for this important night. The goal of the evening is to inspire our world community to keep giving back and to illustrate the power of creativity even in light of tragedy. We're looking for people who are doing great things in the region to make the world a better place, stories of rebirth and passion for a cause. The only rules are that you tell your story in 20 images with 20 seconds an image.

info@pkstl.com) your name, contact information, a few lines about what you'd like to present and a sample image. We are looking for a variety of presentations to reflect our diverse city so not all presentations will be chosen for this event, but may be selected for a future event. Cut off for submissions on this event is Feb. 8. If selected, final presentations are due by Feb. 17.
