party /pecha kucha /party, we know, normally it’s the other way around!!

But for one time we prefer to have a lot of party, just a little bit of PECHA KUCHA NIGHT and then a lot of party again. We really needed to turn things around this time! This in order to have more time to celebrate a lot of things at the same time, TOGETHER WITH YOU!

Special edition to celebrate on the success of PKN:

--that this is our tenth PKN in 1,5 years time (who said it was impossible to organise PKN in Italy??);
.
---that Udine is very present in the Japanese book 20x20 that was issued by KDa on PKN-worldwide, with a picture and an article. The book start with pictures of important cities like TOKIO, MELBOURNE, MIAMI, UDINE, BOGOTA, BANGKOK and LONDON;
.
---that this success was possible thanks to a lot of people in Milano, Venezia, Torino, Treviso, Trieste and especially Udine where everything started!! As (most of) you know, Anna & Mirko organised the first Italian Pecha Kucha Night in Udine in February last year. In this very short lapse of time, PKN has grown to become a national movement with big a lot of press coverage, people attending and people organising PKN’s from north to south.

But let’s party, also at a more personal level. PKN staff will open a new season with a change in dress but not in soul:
--Mirko van den Winkel is changing from Moroso to Quinze & Milan in Belgium;
---Anna Termite will start working there as well but she will also maintain Termitestudio in Udine;
---Lucrezia Armano will give new life to other interesting events around art&friuli;
---a new generation is taking over PKN especially Gloria Deganutti & MariaCristina Dri in Udine, Simone Paternich in Firenze, while Vanna Coslovich continues to lead PKN Trieste and Matteo Palmisano will start in Pordenone.

SPECIAL GUESTS – LATEST NEWS
We are very proud to announce that during this special PKN BIG PARTY, we will have as super special guests the group
GIRL.STAR from Walt Disney.
Hardly anyone knows that this new, young but already very famous multi-ethnic group lives, works and enjoys its self not only in California but also in Italy. One of the girls is African, another is half Dutch, and one actually is Italian. Thanks to the family connections, the Girl.Star will be in Udine!! And we are very proud to say that they will perform their latest number, LIVE!!!
