By signing up to Pecha Kucha Night I agree to the following terms of use:

General Conduct

1. I am at least 18 years old.
2. Pecha Kucha Night is not a tool for internet playboys or playgirls. I will not use Pecha Kucha Night to systemically contact people with such intent.
3. I will contribute to the community by recommending places or events, writing in my blog, or commenting on my interests. Users who do not contribute to the community for an extended period of time will be deleted.
4. I will not use any foul or otherwise inappropriate language in my profile, comments, or messages to other members. Profiles and usage in violation of this rule are subject to being removed immediately and without warning.
5. I will not solicit any kind of paid service.
6. I will not create or submit unwanted email (spam) to any Pecha Kucha Night members.
7. I will not use racist, hateful, or otherwise offensive comments.
8. I will not abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate other Pecha Kucha Night users either online or offline.
9. I will not transmit information promoting activities that would be illegal under the laws of Japan or in my jurisdiction.
10. I am solely responsible for all content published or displayed through my account, including any email messages, and for my interactions with other members.

Submission of content on Pecha Kucha Night

1. I agree to grant Pecha Kucha Night a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive right and license to use, display, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, perform, promote, archive, translate, and to create derivative works and compilations, in whole or in part. Such license will apply with respect to any form, media, technology already known or developed subsequently;
2. I warrant and represent that I have all legal and other rights that may be necessary to grant us the license specified above;
3. I acknowledge and agree that Pecha Kucha Night shall have the right (but not obligation), at Pecha Kucha Night's entire discretion, to refuse to publish, or to remove, or to block access to any content I provide, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice.

Privacy

I understand that Use of the Website and/or the Service is also governed by Pecha Kucha Night's Privacy Policy .

Indemnity

I indemnify and hold Pecha Kucha Night, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, and other partners and employees, harmless from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third meeting due to or arising out of my use of the Service in violation of this Agreement and/or arising from a breach of this Agreement and/or any breach of my representations and warranties set forth above.

Pecha Kucha Night is not responsible for any incorrect content regardless of how it was posted. Pecha Kucha Night is not responsible for the conduct, whether online or offline, of any user. Pecha Kucha Night is not responsible for any kind of technical malfunction or failure. Under no circumstances shall Pecha Kucha Night be responsible for any loss or damage, including personal injury or death resulting from the use of the website or contact with the user, be it online or offline. Pecha Kucha Night is provided "AS-IS".

Limitation on Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL Pecha Kucha Night BE LIABLE TO ME OR ANY THIRD EVENT FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFIT DAMAGES ARISING FROM MY USE OF THE WEB SITE OR THE SERVICE, EVEN IF Pecha Kucha Night HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Membership in Pecha Kucha Night is void where prohibited
